Lean Customer Development
In early phases of new product development I've designed experiments to validate assumptions around the proposed business model - customer segments in this case.
I've implemented research regimes to inform early design phases and measure usability during iteration. At left, is an exercise designed to prioritize information architecture for a dashboard application.
I have expertise in designing collaborative workshops to expose ideas quickly and get everyone on the same page.
In more waterfall environments or Sprint 0 situations, I've leaned on processes like Twin Peaks - developed at Wireless Generation (now Amplify).

Along with a history of more traditional UX and visual design deliverables like site maps, wireframes, and mockups - I've been part of movement at Amplify to move towards code based deliverables that promote collaboration and coordination with development teams, and also promote early user testing. Our first implementation was a live style guide for a student data platform.
